i just looked at your website and for starters, your text is REALLY hard to read... might be just me...

viewing on FF browser at 800x600.
the main image is blurry.
the text is positioned half on top of the image and half in the main black area.
blue on black does do a strain on my eyes.

it is a good start though. keep trying.

My reccomendation is to get rid of your dead links for now, and perhaps make an "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" page instead for them to link to. And also, make a few background-changing links, for the people who's eyes get strained from blue on black :x

For background changing links, see the tutorial forum... The thread is called "Changing background color with image/text links" Or something of the sort... I wrote the tutorial, and it's easy! :x

The blue is very hard to read against the black. Try making the image quality better, and move the layout down a bit so that the image isn't interrupting the text.

The little ='s around your words... kinda hard to make out the text with them there. Um.. and that picture. U can't tell what it is. :)

part of making a good website is going through that phase where it just doesn't look right. The whole point is that only ou can decide for yourself what's going to be on your site.

If you want it to look like it suites(sp?) the topic, go to other sites that have the same topic as yours, and see if you get any ideas. That's what I did, and it helped me a lot

well iv made a website with geocities(just ta see wat i could do with a different topic) and i used the comments u guys gave me and my site is looking much better not great but it will get better.

Im sure if you put it up, with actual content and not just a constructions page (which is pretty pointless) it would look better. Try using some CSS on your webby - it'll help. Blue on black is too hard to read, Try like white on black or something like that - way easier

i actually find blue on black quiet easy to read, even though i wear glasses its one of the fw things i can see. everyones diff, maybe you could try a red and black? or like a dark red or something instead of black or a dark blue and a light blue?

Keep workin on your site, it will get better. get rid of your under contruction thingy so we can see what you have so far please! oh and one thing, will the sims be on it? good luck and let us know how it goes! bye!

here's (http://kasparius.com/nonflash/tutorial/tuthow.htm) a pretty good tutorial on how to make an image map (the picture navbar) or you could use CuteMap (http://www.cuteftp.com/downloads/cutemap.asp) and it will do the coding for you.
