What is your opinion on them. I know they are just shoes. I have a pair. I think they are fine. The annoying thing is how trendy they have become. Some people will say "I LOOOOOVE NIKE... but, everyone has converse... so I will get them". Then, of course, once you get them you have to scribble all over them and write "ACDC ROCKS!" on the toe.

Like I said, I have a pair... but, I am thinking about burning them now.

I like Converses. In fact, Im wearing a pair right now. I dont care if theyre trendy or not, I wear them because I like them. :p

I'm an Adias guy. I can run super long distanes and not get blisters or anything, everyone has their own shoe. Come to think of it, I'm blisterless for the past 300+ miles. Score w00t.

Although, come to think of it, I do wear flipflops with jeans a lot, and that was a big thing last year, but I'm still doing it, because that rocks :-P

I've personally never liked them I always hated how they look. If other people like them it's fine everyone has different taste but I do hate how people wear (and do things) because it's "trendy", it's like if you like 'em alot the fine wear it, but don't just wear or do something because everyone else is doing it.

Eurgh! I really hate those shoes! Sorry to all you people who like them! Theres only a small percentage of people they suit. They just look odd on all the rest. I'm not really that casual a person though so i guess thats why they don't appeal to me. I own only one pair of really old trainers (sneakers) and they are only for the gym I very rarely wear them any where else. I like dolly shoes as I call them. I like big (was gonna swear then) boots like timberlands and wranglers too. I guess those are extremely opposite but then I am rather random!

My feet look like clown feet to BEGIN with.. women's size 11 :P Went to a sneaker store the other day-- got to choose from the 2 pairs of 11s that they had in the store. Guess I should get used to mens shoes.

I love them :D I have a piar of red ones, black ones, black and red ones, and green and pink ones :D

They're a huge trend at my school right now. I own a pair, but not all star chucks (high-top sneakers are just ugly to me) and I kind of got them before they were a trend. I feel bad because I don't wear them anymore, can't stand sneakers. I might just sell mine on ebay, if I didn't know winter is coming soon and I'd be sad to have cold feet.

Something that seems like a weird trend to me right now (at my school, dunno about anywhere else) is Birkenstocks. Wear mine all the time and thought I looked stupid, but now everyone's wearing Birkenstocks, or Birkenstock look-alikes. Kept me from feeling like a total shoes-don't-match dork.

The only pair of Converse I own are cheerleading shoes :) I didn't really like them, but I said that they're okay (on the poll) 'cause I really don't have anything against them, and I think some people look okay with them :) I mostly wear sandals, because they are SOO comfortable, but I just got a pair of KSwiss sneaks and Reeboks, which are sooo amazingly comfortable :D The only pair of sneakers that I did wear were Asics.. cheerleading shoes :lol: because I got so used to them! :cheer2:

haha... it is really funny because at our school KSwiss is pretty much "The Ghetto/Pimp" thing to wear. But, they are very popular. I remember in 6th grade that was the hot thing to wear. The ones all white with the baby blue or red linning.

Yeah... Converse are also bad when it rains. They are not very water resistant... so they fill up with water and then you have cold wet feet for the rest of the day.

It took me foreeeeeeeever to find my macbeths. I only like the Eliots, and of course no one carried them in my size (I guess everyone else in the world wears a size 8, too). I finally found them on ebay. :P

i think the hightops look better than the regular ones if one is wearing long jeans. the toe is more.. round. regular converses make peoples feet look larger than hightops. in my opinion. hmm.

i've gone through 2 pairs of them. well actually, i completely wore out my first pair [they got holes in the bottom so i could feel the ground when i walked in them :hehe:] and now i'm on my second pair. but i wear them so much that.. they're slowly dying as well :( it's my fault, i wear them too much. and i have to pick up my feet more when i walk. i don't know what shoe's i'll get once i can't wear these anymore. they're too perfect.
