I actully have too pages with the prob, one is my tagboard :

http://www.geocities.com/buffys_bud/tag.htm

which I'd expect to have a prob with the code, but my archive of fanfiction:

http://www.geocities.com/buffys_bud/fic/ff.htm

I couldn't understand where the prob could be.

Thanks 4 ur help

I don't know much about tag boards but the bottom link your problem was a the bottom of the html their is:
<!-- text below generated by server. PLEASE REMOVE --></object></layer></div></span></style></noscript></table></script></applet>
<script language="JavaScript">var PUpage="76001078"; var PUprop="geocities"; </script><script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.geocities.com/js_source/pu5geo.js"></script><script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.geocities.com/js_source/ygIELib9.js?v3"></script><script language="JavaScript">var yviContents='http://us.toto.geo.yahoo.com/toto?s=76001078&l=NE&b=1&t=1050361206';yviR='us';yfiEA(0);</script><script language="JavaScript" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mc/mc.js"></script><script language="JavaScript" src="http://geocities.com/js_source/geov2.js"></script><script language="javascript">geovisit();</script><noscript><img src="http://visit.webhosting.yahoo.com/visit.gif?us1050361206" alt="setstats" border="0" width="1" height="1"></noscript>
<IMG SRC="http://geo.yahoo.com/serv?s=76001078&t=1050361206" ALT=1 WIDTH=1 HEIGHT=1>

which you need to remove. So for the tagboard I can't help but I hope that fixes your other problem.
Tell if this works yes or no once you try it.

that was generated by my host, geocities, so I dan't think it was doing any harm. It inserts it itself, so I can remove it, but it will just be palced by in.

I looked at your code in notepad and with the code the page came up with an error, but without it the page came up fine.
PS Do you realy want the letter A in the top right of your page.

Its the geocities ad code itself that causes the error...nothing to do with your codeing in this case, there isnt a whole lot you can do about it im affraid, except maybe move hosts if it bothers you that much.

ya loren I do, cus It's an archive and I have a link to the authors on the other page, it's a anchor, u see.

thanks starlet, but I've had sooooooo much trouble with hosts lately I decided on geocites, and I'm sticking with it.

thanks a mil to both of you.

there are javascripts that get rid of the ad code for you. try looking for them. they help out for th elook of your site a lot. but be weary, they disable all javascript on your page so it may not be such a good idea after all? i dunno depends on what you are plannng on doing.
