Hey, this is kind of random, but never mind - I've noticed a quite few Dutch people on this forum and I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me some Dutch phrases such as 'I love you', 'oh god' 'good' 'how are you?' etc.

I'm roleplaying a Dutch character and my knowledge of the language is bar to none...

Uhm, if there is anyone lovely enough to help then I send BIG hugs and thankies! Jess - xxx

Well I'm just starting to learn dutch so I dont speak it very good but I think "I love you" is "Ik houd van u". Please correct me if I'm wrong!

Ik hou van jou = I love you

goed = good

dank u wel = thank you for people older than you, for people you don't know, or for people who deserve respect

dank je wel = for people the same age or younger, for people you know

You can learn Dutch by going to this site: http://www.speakdutch.nl/

If that site doesn't work, search on www.google.com for learn dutch online
