Hi, I'm opening an HP awards site and one of my categories is for Livejournal layouts and usually with awards sites the owner asks the nominee to put a button on the site in question.

My question is: is it possible to do this with LJ?

I know that you can put the code (button) on an actual site and then link it in, but is there another way to show the button? I mean I have pictures in my profile, but I'm always *given* the code . . . can I do this? I mean, for my visitors? Thanks. :)

You can upload the buttons to a site that allowing direct linking like http://tinypic.com. You'll be given a code after you upload it there to link to the image, so just provide that to whoever needs it.
