eek i want my div just to scroll with no scroll bar. i've tride certain stuff . the scrollbar that keeps appearing is red face n black. how can i make it so its not there n just the wrightign scrolls on its own?

Try this..I'm not positive it will work, tho. Put it in your div, so that it would look like this:

(you get the idea)
Change the entire scrollbar colors to something like lime green (that is if lime green is no where on your layout) then change the filter croma color to lime green, and it will make it transparent. This code is what I used on Xanga and it works so it should work on a website =]

Well, another simple way to make it 'scroll on its own' is to use marquee. The text will scroll all the time, by itself. Here is the coding/different marquee styles... http://www.lissaexplains.com/fun3.shtml

i've got that on part my site but oh well. thanx anyway. i was wondering if i cud do it like partly like u said but make the scrollbar just for that bit all black then make i transparent? wots the code for that./ But i want to insert it into the div layer so that my other main scrollbar isn't effected. Am i making sense ? lol

Try this. I've set the filter to make a lime green color transparent, so if you have that color on your site, just change the colors of the scrollbar/filter. You dont have to use the div I provided..just place the scrollbar code into the div where you'd be typeing, and type under it.. =]

ok i have no idea what i am doign wrong. first i thought css goes in the head tag. all i want is my txt on my page to be able for ppl to scroll without showing the actually scroll bar...*sniffle sniffle*
