The title pretty much says it all. I want my layout centered, and have the space at the sides a certain color. My last layout was on the left, which I don't like because then there's too much room at the right if you're not using 800x600.

Cant you just add <center> </center> tags at the end/starts of your coding? I don't see why what wouldnt work..and what do you mean by having the sides stay a certain color?

Will that do it, just add the center tags? Because I thought if you position everything, your banner, i-frame, etc. wouldn't your positioning, uh, override the <center></center>? I have no clue what I'm talking about sorry. I think I figured out the space thingy...make the main bg a certain color and your div layers another one color...I haven't tried it I just think that *could* work. I thought you could do that with css though. I can't find another example, to show you. :(

It might over ride it..but if you're using positioning, can't you just mess with it and change it all so that it's centered? Sometimes when you add center tags along with positioning tags..instead of having it start at the far left of the page, it will start at the center, and in that case sometimes you'll need to add "left: -#px" instead of just the number, the - tag will tell it to override the centering and will go to the left anyways, but that might just be with images..I'm not sure..sorry if I just totally confused you..lol. As for the background, yes, it should change if you make it that color, I didn't know you didn't have it set. But yeah, I think you're using an image layout..right? so, just put <center> tags around the image, like this, <center><img src="IMG"></center> and then reposistion the i-frames and other things so that it's all aligned right.
