Hi,
How do you make backgrounds really light so they can see your text? Is there a code or do you need to download a program

if you have psp try this
open your image
figure out which part you want to make lighter find the dimensions
make a new image of those dimensions with bg
copy the new image
paste as a new layer on the old image
open layers palette
reduce transparency

or you could go to the color menu and adjust the brightness of the original image... 20% outta do it.

or you could make your site all dark and stuff like the cool sites ;)

in general, one wantsjust the place where text will be to be brighter.
brightening the entire imaqge could be disasterous.
