hello everyone. i need some major help with inline-frames. my site, the background image takes forever to load. my friend suggested that i should use inline-frames. so i cam here to get somehelp. [sorry lissa]but i just don't understand it. could someone help me to getting the frames and explaining to me how they work and how i could use the frames? please? anyone? it would be greatly appreciated.

Iframes are not going to make your image load any faster. I suggest using a graphics program and reduce the image size. Right now it's over 1MB and that's a lot just for a background.

it's 1.15MB, is that a lot? when i make my layouts, i usually make them 800 x 500 px. and i kinda already have the layout up and stuff. i was just wondering how to lessen the time of the background loading [ http://www.laurenslayouts.cjb.net ]

Use an image cruncher (search for the URL). Or make a smaller background.
Honestly, I don't know why it's so big, it could be the image program that you used when you made it.
Yes. 1MB is a lot for any image.
