Just want to know your guys opinions on Hilary Duff singing. She's an okay actress, but have you noticed that so many actresses now are singing? Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff...it's like to be an actress you need a good voice. Anyways, what do you think?

*Hits Munchkin with a fry pan* LOL, I put up a thread like this! :P Okay, just to be polite I think her singing is alright. I only like one song though. The others annoy me. I like the song called, "Rain". I don't know why but I just do.

Nah, she sucks. I guess most of those kids that are now singing are in it for the money.

She's terrible. There is nothing about her that I like. Plus, I read all of these articles about her in People magazine, and she's a total snob! UGH! Well, I must say, she DOES have it pretty rough. [rolls eyes] [heavy sigh]. ;)

i dont like her... i might be able to sing better than her... and the only singing experience i have is in the church youth band & school choir..

no offence, but must we judge her over and over again? she's just a teen. she's not perfect, neither are any of us. I mean, i understand you don't have to like her, but pleased don't just be mean for no reason!

i think she is not a good singer AT ALL. like there is nothing good about her voice. i will admit that her voice isn't particularly bad.. she can hit the notes i guess.. but it's not very good. it's just BLAH. and i don't like how she's getting all famous and all these children idolize her for it.. because she really isn't talented! i hate how almost anyone in the entertainment industry automatically thinks that they can be a singer/actor/model/dancer all at the same time.

I hate her. I've seen and heard way too much of her. I would fine when she just did her TV show but then when she got into the Singing and Acting and the all Cute act? Ugh it drives me insane. And now she has her own Clothes line!! I mean.....Errr Yes I just don't like her that's all.....And how people go on about "Omg Hilary Duff is so pretty" :/

well she's older than me. but, anywayyy... i, for one, do not think i am being mean, i am simply stating my opinion of her. i am not being mean to her. because.. i don't see her around, do you? i think not. :buckt:

You know, having a voice to sing has nothing to do with it. To my knowledge (not that I look into it), she doesn't write any of her songs, and she doesn't play any of the instruments in her songs, so she has no talent in my eyes. That's what I don't like about all these new people...especially what's going on in American Idol. The people can sing...that's about it.

And if people seriously disagree with me then reply and tell me how much you all hate me, how much i could keep my opinions to myself and that i should be banned if you like, because it wont bother me and you can put me straight, whatever you want, so reply if you like.

true i do feel that the band that plays for her is called "hilary's band" she could do with learning to play something.

I am not so crazy about her singing but I'm not sure I could do better!

She really has no talent!! Seriously, I mean, I said I didn't like her voice, but most of her songs are synthesized anyway!! So, I don't even KNOW what her voice sounds like! And, what she DOES actually sing, I don't like... She just has no talent. :/

personally i really dont like her. I feel thats she is following some "image" but whatever. I really hate how actors/actresses are starting a singing career. I mean what happed to artists actuallyhaving some musical talent. I mean there are some musicians out there that have been working so hard to achieve their dream to become a recording artist and are actually VERY talented and are not being discovered. What happened to when music actually had a deeper meaning? Now a days its all a bunch of manufactured talent. And hilary is just that. The music lable is just trying to make a few extra bucks off her. I think she should stick to acting and improving her acting skills then trying to be something shes not. I actually like her show and i think a lot more ppl would like her if she stuck to her talent: acting.

I take Journalism in High School and reporters are not allowed to "make up" things. They can be sued. Even tabloids are not allowed to make up things...so please research what your talking about before you talk about it. ((Not to sound mean or anything O_O ))

Also, I really dislike Hilary Duff....like everyone else said...she can't sing! She does use a synthesisor...I think Avril does to...(if you've ever heard her in conecrt O_o) But yeah...She should stick to acting, she's at least good at that. The thing about it is, she's already popular by acting so she got a head start on singing because of it.

i hate duffy with passion. My feelings of hatred towards her r just impossible to put into words. She can't act and she can't sing! She will never be the next nichol kidman...not that im saying shes heading that way. I can't sing for nout but u cud put my dog on stage n he wud fart more in tune than her. I'd rather listen to britney n make my eyes bleed and thats saying something for what i think on britney. nichol kidman is multi talented if i wanted to b famous i wud want to b just like her. shes attractive, can sing ( moulin rouge) and she can certainly act.

I feel the same way about Ms. Duff as you do... But, I just didn't want to say how much I couldn't stand her... She is pretty though. That's all I can say about her that's good... I don't think I would dislike her as much if she wasn't so stuck up and rude. :/
