what do you do when the sound in your computer is gone? PLEASE HELP!!!!!Thanks!!

Did it just.... disappear? Try double-clicking on the volume icon in the status tray (the little speaker), see if anything is turned off. And if that's crossed out, that's might do it too. :P

yeah..just gone....and the thing is that the speakers are working,if you turn them on you can kinda feel it. The problem is computer....and I had this problem once,I hired some fancy guy,he fixed it,but it costs a lot of $$$,so isn't there any back door or something?

Try using Windows Help for a troubleshooter. Start > Help

or you may need a new sound card. also try the wires- sometimes they might come loose and then the sound won't work
