hi ive been checking this site out n its kool n easy so less text than normal tutorials anway I was wondering how do i make my cgi directory as my host only supplys help on how to use it.

um, go to your root directory and their should be a directory labeled cgi-bin. if not, simply make a new directory and name it that.

EDIT: if your files are stored in a www or public_html directory, make the cgi-bin inside of it.

When i do add cgi-bin what do i then do because this is all totally new to me

ok, once you have the folder, you put cgi files in it when you need. Most cgi scripts come with instructions on what to put in the cgi-bin. the directory is the cgi-bin.
