Never heard of it. Frankly, I prefer to learn the material as it is. ;) Difficulties are merely another obstacle to overcome, I prefer to challenge myself to learn them, the right way :) BTW...Shakesphere rocks :D....just a random tidbit lol

If you depend on spark notes because you cant read stuff that's kinda sad lol Usually hard literature has it's own versions with like definitions of old english words and notes of their meanings. I don't think anyone needs sparknotes or cliffnotes

I use schoolnotes.com, but that's an entirely different website, with a different purpose. :P
I think I've only been on sparknotes.com once, and it wasn't for homework help or anything like that..

Oh, schoolnotes.com ! Yes yes, I use that as well, for those of you who dont know what it is...its basicly an online assignment book :) Your teachers (if they choose to use it, some dont) Post your class assignments and grades online for you to keep up with ;)

The only thing i use sparknotes for was to test my self on Romeo and Juliet. Never once use the Cliff/Spark notes.... 'Mobey^^^^' is a Hard book to under stand I tried reading it over the summer and like the first ten chapters are very odd.

I actually read the books, but sparknotes helps me review before a big quiz. It is pretty useful, but sometimes i find their forums annoying. not quite sure why... hm

Hey, that's actually kind of neat. I just went to check out sparknotes.com, and it has unaltered Shakespeare there, I might use that if I ever forget my book at school (except I own Romeo and Juliet, so..).

i used to use sparknotes..to get out of reading books..but then I realized that site wasn't too good. and that it's actually easier just to read the book :P

Sparknotes got me through grade 10! lol I didn't read a single book in Advanced english, and still managed to get an 80%. But last year I actually read the books, but once in a while I read the spark notes summary before a test or exam, and it helped me remember the main parts of the book :P

I've only used it twice, once last year for help with my English project on A Clockwork Orange, and once this year to get summaries of books so I could choose for an English project :P I'll be used one last time this year again for help with the project. I'd never completely rely on the site though just because the book has so much that a little outline like that can't cover :P

Well these site are all well and good but without reading the book you can't really understand it and that is the point after all. There is a lot of hidden meanings in books that some people will get and some will not. I don't agree with these sites at all. I know in England you wouldn't be able to get away with using a site like that. Thats because you have to make relevent notes in your book or else you'd come under suspicion. Reading is a very good thing and a love of reading can get you far in life. Please at least try and read your books!!
