The way I planned on doing this layout was make the middle part repeat over and over and then at the end, stop repeating and go to the bottom image but I realized if I do that, if there isn't a right amount of text, it might end so that the bottom image is stuck on an awkward spot that looks funny... eh it's kind of hard to explain but maybe you get it?
Anyway, I was just wondering if maybe somehow I could make it so that no matter where the layout stops, it won't look funny when it ends off to the bottom image?
I hope I actually get some responses because I realize this one might be kind of weird and usually when I post confusing things like this they don't get answered like I hoped. >_<

i don't think you can do that with that image, since you can't repeat it there's no pattern in it, it's all different in colours shape etc.

however you could use a div or iframe, and make the background fixed in it. I know that this is not the solution you where asking for, sorry ..

if the middle part was able to repeat then your solution would work with a table having a top middle and bottom cell, and the middle cell repeating the background.

im not fully understanding what you want to do, but i think it involves clicking your menu links, and having them fresh in the middle...so let me give this a try

slice up your image and turn the piece wherever you want your text or images to appear into a jpeg file.

make an iframe then have the jpeg image set as background and use the css code where it background does not scroll

sorry i explained it difficult, lol
