View Full Version : HELP ME! Images in g-books? pixiecake 04-10-2003, 06:04 PM please help me! Can somone give me an image code that lets you put an image or header in your guest book? Then you see a bunch of html and if you want to add a header (top image) to your guestbook you just simply add the <img src="urlheaderhere.gif" border=0> on the place where you want the header to appear. It is a broken image, I think it is because it must be a gif right? maybe someone could contact me and help me make it a gif? that would be VERYYYY helpfull! ;DDDD MaGiCSuN 04-11-2003, 06:08 PM you must fill in the whole url, because now the html thinks that the picture is located on the same space as your guestbook is, wich is not from you but from signmyguestbook and you cannot upload files there so fill in the whole url where the picture is located and it should be fine. Also don't make it such a big graphic because .bmp takes a while to load. love, Mirna pixiecake 04-11-2003, 06:54 PM hmmm... ok! I will try that but how do I make it a .gif? My graphic isn't very large either.. its only about 3 inches acroos and 2 inches high O___o thanks for your help by the way MaGiCSuN 04-11-2003, 08:29 PM That should work okay to make your file a .gif you open it in your graphic editor and choose "save as..." and then choose in the drop down menu "*.Gif" and fill in the name of the file you want to save. Then click "ok" and that should do it BUT with most MS Paint versions you can only save into .bmp. With some you can save in .gif but it get's very weird looking then. I don't know wich graphic editior you use but if you do use MS paint then you can try another graphic editor like PaintShopPro www.jasc.com or Photoshop www.adobe.com Love, mirna pixiecake 04-12-2003, 05:43 PM dang again!
