as the bg, but when i did it it becomes the banner.. is there a way to make it the bg with links in it?

No, I don't think that's possible but you can make your background black, cut out the image and align it to the right. Hope it helps..:)

you'll need to image map it first... and then add in the URL of the background, and change the width and height to what your image's width and height is... and then add in the coords for the image maps and the links and such like this...
