Hi, I was just wondering where you rename your files to .shtml when you're doing SSI.

Do you save them as .shtml right after you finished coding the page in notepad? Do you save the file as .html, upload it and then rename it to .shtml in your FTP?

I'm confused... someone please help.

you can do it either way. i prefer to name them as i save them.

you may have to choose the "All Files" for the type when saving then put quotes around the title...
"Pagename.shtml"
