View Full Version : I want just the image and the words... how do i "cut" it?

The image is at the top. How do I get it so that there's not a huge white box around it from where its been cut? Can I minimize the box by cutting around the words too?? HELP! AH!

I'm not sure but u can try cutting it in the graphic program that you use. OR just do that part over in a transparent background and sabe it as a .gif. The only thing that should show is the text (what u want to show). I really hope that helped! I wish you luck :)

How do I do that??? I made the graphic, but somebody else cut it down for me... How do I do the transparent thing?

open up ur image and then open up a new image and when you open it put what ever size u want (it can be the same size) then make sure "transparent" is checked. and add your image. i hope that made sense...hope u figure it out... :)

i was bending over backwards earlier to do this to a jpg... photoshop opens jpgs as a locked background, so you have to copy it and then delete the background, then paste the new copy into a new document

but what your problem would be is that because the cheerleader image is so faded, its going to take most of it off as white, which might be a bit hard for a beginner, so here ya go:

Nothing happened... It looked the same. What am I supposed to put the image onto and then click the transparent background??

hum, i made it transparent, it worked for me, iono why it wont work for your :-/
