Ok i'm getting myself a digital camera, and i can't decide which model. There's the S500 (http://reviews.cnet.com/Canon_PowerShot_S500/4505-6501_7-30732126.html)
and then theres the A95 (http://reviews.cnet.com/Canon_PowerShot_A95/4505-6501_7-30994105.html?tag=pdtl-list) which is pretty new and still hasn't been reviewed at that site yet so you can see it here

so all i really want to know people's opinions before i make my final decision because the reviews usually don't compare the two cameras and which one they find better, but i looked at the specs and the only big difference is that the A95's LCD can flip and has different modes and function stuff, while the s500 is just compact without the modes....i hate making decisions :S so which one would you suggest is the better buy

hey. I had an A60 and now I have an S50. Although they are lower models they are still from the same groups. To be honest with you, I don't see a big defference in performance and things like that between the 2 groups. I suggest that if you got the cheaper of the 2 then you would be making a good decision. They are both darn good cameras. The only thing I liked better about the S series is that it has a rechargable battery and with the A series I had to keep buying batteries for it.
