hi.....im making a fan site, and i have my image thumbnails all set up for my pic gallery. The only problem is that I am using Geocities, and it says I cant use Java to make my pics pop up in a new window. Can Anyone help me?

You should be able to use javascript on geocities..

did it say Java, or JavaScript? They are two different things, and I know a lot of people have had problems getting Java applets to work on Geocities, which would explain that. So if they do block one of them, it's probably only Java.
