[#1] This tutorial will (hopefully) tell you how to clean a low quality image. This comes in very useful to me when making wallpapers or graphics for my site and hopefully it will also help you in some way. I'm using Photoshop 7.0 for this but I also have PSP8 so if you want me to do one in PSP8 just PM me.
1 Open your image.
2 Select the blur tool (it's in the second section and it looks like a tear drop - if there's a triangle or a hand in it's place then click on the little black arrow next to it and click on blur tool. You can easily just press R!).
3 If the area you want to clean is big, select a bigger sized brush. If it is small then of course, select a smaller sized brush because if you use a larger size and you have a small area, you will loose details and and it becomes quite a mess.
4 Now that you have the right brush size, go over the area you want to clean. I recommend you zoom in for details. Keep changing brush sizes if you want to clean different areas.
And your done. Just a note: do not keep going over the same area or else it just gets more blurry than you want it.
This is an example of what I achieved: http://www.freepgs.com/untitled/files/tut_cleaning.jpg .
Need help? Want to give feedback =)? Feel free to email or PM me.
