the graphic im making has to be 4 1/4" x 5 1/4 "

when I go into my graphics program I use ( PSP8) and change the new image to inches instead of pixels the pixels are like 2159 x 2667, that seems way to big.. is it? how do I do it right? I'm pretty sure I'm doing it wrong..

Thats what i get too, but your right that seems totally wrong doesnt it! I'll google it and see if i can work it out.

it depends on what you have your resolution set to... i have mine at 72 pixles per inch and when i put the measurement at 4.25" and then change it to pixles, it is 306

if i change my resolution to 500 p/i it makes 4.25" become over 2000 pixles... it will still be the same size, just better quality if you will...
