hello, i need help! this is my website: http://www.geocities.com/europein3, I used fireworks to make this website, but the problem is that I changed the canvas to "transparent" thinking that there would be no white when I go to put it on a webpage with a background... I was wrong as seen at my website (http://www.geocities.com/europein3). Do I need to do something different? Is there any way I can fix this? Thank you so much!

I think it would be easier to cut this picture out in an imaging program than it would be to use HTML. You might want to ask people in the Graphics board for help.

thank you for your help. what do you mean by cutting this picture out in an imaging program? because it is diamond shaped and is hard to crop. thank you tho!

use the polygon lasso tool to trace the image and then invert your selection and then delete and what you will have done is deleted the white background... then you can save the pic and it should have no background...

This is the same sort of things... is there any way to make the background of this divider transparent? http://home.earthlink.net/~gamesthatplayus/bar026.gif
