Hello, I need some help with photoshop, and I'm hoping anyone can help me out.
I am following this tutorial to make a website layout (located here: http://www.switchdesigns.net/?id=psltut)
And I'm stuck on step 7.

"7. Add some little effects like some text...
This text was created using 2 of the same text layer, rasterising one of them and adding a Motion Blur (Filter--> Blur--> Motion Blur) with the angle of 0° and a distance of 50 pixels."

What the crap? :confused: What is "rasterising" and where can I find it?

when you add text to your ps thing, it creates its own layer if you get what i mean... all you have to do to rasterize it is right click on the text layer in the layers palette and click rasterize. i don't know exactly what it means but i know that you can't do those effects unless you rasterize it... rasterized=fully editable i guess you could say!!
