ok...i had to restart my comp b/c i was running PS7 and it wouldnt save. You know those 3 boxes on the left side of the screen in ps7? Well,I went into PS again and only one of them was there! is there any way to get them back? the ones i need were the layering box and the color chooser. thanks!

in the menu bar where you file, edit, image... etc, click on the window menu and you can select which things you want to display...
