I just had Pizza Hut pizza today, and it was some of the best pizza I've had in a long time :D Just wondering what everyone else thought!

Homemade? :P
The best in town is Godfather's (and cinnamon sticks... yum...) , but the best pizza I ever had was at Spaghetti&Co in Salzburg :D

Home made (had some for dinner, whee) or Bertucci's. Bertucci's has that really thin crusted NYC style pizza.

New york upper crust! (it's not really local... there's a chain of them but it was the closest thing)Yum! Though, pizza hut is second.

I remember Papa John's being pretty good, but I haven't had it in years because there aren't any near me.

so really my first choice is Domino's, then Pizza Hut (sometimes it can be burned or have way too much cheese, though- and all my local Pizza Huts have closed :P I can think of 4 off the top of my head that closed near me).

my local pizza places (all 9 million of them) are all about equally bad, although one pizza place near my high school that I went to for lunch on occassion is decent, although messy- their crust is fairly thin so it's kind of crispy, but because of that it tends to crack and everything goes all over :P

score (since when do I say that? lol), apparently there's a Papa John's in the neighborhood where I'll be going to school, as well as a Domino's, and there's a Pizza Hut Express thing on campus and a combo Pizza Hut/Taco Bell/KFC place right off campus :P

*Pukes* Sorry but I know it's covered in partially hydronated oils, high fructios corn syrups, fats, and carbs. So very, very, very bad for your health. The only pizza I eat is homemade and once in a while organic pizza, that's storebought. But yes, pizza does taste delicious but so very bad for health. But I guess Pizza Hut... I voted I hated pizza though.

My favorite is a local place here, but at the moment my favorite is pizza hut. :P The dominoes over here is horrible, which is sad, because the dominoes up by school is pretty good. Then again, the pizza hut at school is good, too... That's not right, PA isn't supposed to have better pizza that NY :P

Oh man, I love pizza. The possibilities are endless!

At Domino's (I'm pretty sure it's called Domino's, not Dominoes? ) I always get the same, steak and onion pizza with provolone, cheddar, and mozzarella cheeses. Oh and no sauce, of course. The best thing ever!

Wait..carbs are bad for you? Oh man, you're not one of those Atkins people who storm villages and destroy all of our bread supply so you can lose 10 pounds in water weight, are you?

Sweetie, you can eat whatever you want to eat, even on a diet-as long as it's in moderation. So don't go crying over pizza, when their are far worse choices out there.

Hey guys, remember Little Caesar's? Was that a pizza place or a frozen pizza brand? I used to see that commercial on television with the little guy and the "Pizza pizza!" all the time but...they don't seem to exist anymore... :(

Or do they? I can't even remember if their pizza was good or not...

Noooo.... okay maybe... :hehe: Anywho all I know is that you don't want to have a balance between carbs and fat. Like 30% fat and 30% carbs. Besides if I did have a pizza once in a while every time I walk by there I'll crave the pizza and eat it more and more often. Besides carbs wasn't the one I was talking about I was mainly concentrating on the first one. Partially hydronated oils or trans fat... That's pretty much a man-made fat that are burnt oils.

Do the pizza pat! Patting your pizza with a napkin will remove - I think it was around 14% - of trans fatty acids and whatnot. Which I do all the time because I hate having a greasy pizza (the pizza my school serves is practically swimming in it)...

Sometimes I pat my pizza, when I remember, but I also eat the crust first so as I'm eating it, the oil drips off. It's kind of gross, really :P

I always do that, and sometimes even to my hamburgers. Never mind the fat, it just grosses me out to see the grease drip off..eurgh.

it was a pizza place... there used to be one fairly close to me, and our Domino's is there now... it was the same kind of setup, hole in the wall in a plaza, take-out/delivery only. I don't think the whole chain closed at once, because I remember sometime after the one near me closed I saw one somewhere when my family was travelling somewhere... I'm not sure if they're around anymore, though. the pizza was alright, I remember they had some big long pizza thing with tons of little square pieces. I don't remember what the name of it was though :P

hmm, apparently they are still around: http://www.littlecaesars.com :P

I just tried seeing where they have locations near me, and there aren't any, so I tried the city where I'll be going to school... all the locations list "Little Caesars - KMart" for the name. I don't know what that's about, it seems to have something to do with KMart, because on all the store websites it says "KMart Corporation" at the top.

ahh, it seems that where it says that it's the franchisee. so all the ones near my school are franchised by KMart? that's so odd haha

lefty
08-15-2004, 05:59 AM
Yeah, that's what happened to them - whenever I see a Little Caesars now, it's always inside a KMart. Yay for corporate America :P

*gets scared* You know, I shouldn't have to even have to look at greasy pizzas. I mean what good does it do to your body? Hmm? Sure it makes your taste buds happy but I'll stick with my veggies!

Since living in the Netherlands, I have yet to find a pizza I like here. Their cheese, for some reason, tastes nasty.

In Pennsylvania, I liked Pizza Hut and a local pizza joint.

Weird...is it like a particular kind of cheese? Or is just that, say, the cheddar cheese in the Netherlands tastes different from the cheddar cheese in the States? :confusion

They say it's mozzarella, but it doesn't taste like 'our' mozzarella.

When Peter went to America for the first time, I could understand why he didn't want to try 'our' pizza. Cause when I tried the Dutch Pizza I was like ewww. If I do get pizza here, I always get it with a lot of toppings so I can't taste the cheese. :)

Haha, I do that too. Say if I don't like a particular hot dog or a burger, I always top the thing with lots of mustard on it so I can't really taste the meat. :hehe:

Ugh, and I hate when they put garlic on pizza. You'd think it'd be good, like garlic bread, but for some reason garlic bread and pizza should just be two different things...

aren't in all junkfood stuff that is 'ewww'? just don't think about it, you should know what is stuffed into snackbar junkfood :P

i like just local pizza things, we don't have any 'brand names' in our town so i haven't tasted them ever. However my fav from the supermarket is the hawaiian pizza that is very thick. I forgot the brandname, but it's delicious :D

Whenever I eat something from pizza hut, I feel sick afterwards!
It may be because our Pizza Hut is old and not kept up very well. Local pizza is always the best!
Even though I'm not a huge pizza fan, hehe.
