I'm pretty sure it may be a different day in some other countries, but over here, it's my lucky day! Does anyone know of anyone who takes this day seriously? I knew this one girl in middle school, but she was crazy any other day, :lol:

I was at a friend's house and for some reason there was a ladder in their living room. I walked under it at least twenty times, for my own amusement and to my friend's terror. ;) I don't believe in superstitions, obviously.

did you know that we say bless you after someone sneezes because of an old superstition? People used to believe that when someone sneezed, their soul would escape if you didn't bless them.

I thought they said God bless you because they thought that when you sneezed your brains were oozing out :confusion I read it somewhere :lol:

Sarah, how do you still have power? lol Last year when hurricane Juan hit we didn't have electricity for a week :P And that was only a category 1! it was upgraded to categorie 4 because it hit another storm or something though :P I've been watching the news on charley since we might get it too. It will probably only be a tropical storm by then though

Friday the 13th is stuuuuuupid! Everything good happens on Friday the 13th, plus it's a Friday, so if summer was over, school would be over for the weekend!

I've been loosing track of the date and day of the week since I got out of summer school, lol; but I only remembered today because I spent some of my black-out time writing in my student planner's calendar.
