Alright, i've got HTML, some Java and Visual Basic under my belt along with Photoshop! But Why Cant i grasp flash? I've looked at tutorials and i have a hard time figureing things out....... :( anyone have ideas?

I share your pain! I learnt Flash 4, four years ago, but the newer versions of Flash require some programming experience, it is a LOT harder to grasp. When I installed MX 2004 I nearly gave up altogether. Even now I'm still working on redoing all the files I made with Flash 5, because they worked fine in Flash 5 but if I change them in MX2004 there are all sorts of errors so I have to set it up in a different way - just to find out how to set it up took me forever, and changing all the files around to the new template I made is taking me several hours a day, I've been working at it for the last two weeks and I've done about 20 of the 37 files pffffft.

Is it worth it in the end?
Yes, I guess it is.
The functionality Flash posesses allows me to program things in a way I cannot do in any other program.

I use Flash mostly for studying purposes, it's not on a site linked from here, that site is all in Dutch, it allows my fellow students (and me) to test our knowledge on various chapters through quizzes, and with some php it send information to them like the questions when they got the answers wrong.
That site got so popular that I am now making about $100 a month with googleads, plus occasionally a grateful fellow student sends me a book voucher to show their appreciation. If google doesn't go bankrupt or something like that, my site should be able to pay for some of my college fees - but it sure is a lot of hard work.

Perhaps you could buy 'Flash for Dummies' or just go through a LOT of the tutorials.
It's all the online (free) tutorials that I really learnt Flash from. Be prepared to spend a lot of time though, it isn't easy!

Hey, Thanks for the reply..... i've done my first tutorial and i understand it! :) yay.... Im using Flash MX.... What site was it u have? I also have google ads on my site... Google wont go bankrupt, because the people advertising on google are the ones who pay google say $2 per click for example.... say they clicked your link, you'd get a % age of the $2. Google wins either way ;)
