Clear the road everybody! I got my drivers license! All run in fear! Mwa ha ha! But seriously, I'm not THAT bad. I passed the test. I didn't feel like I did though... the dude lectured me for about 10 minutes afterwards about the importance of scanning and how many lives one accident can affect. But anyway, I'm a licensed driver. (too bad the picture on it is from last year when I still had braces... :grouch: )

3 words: Taconic State Parkway.

it was built ages ago as a scenic, country-type road, maybe 35-40 MPH. it's now 55, all overgrown, the "scenic overlook" things are all closed, and people use it was a highway. once in driver's ed I found myself going like 70 haha :P

but I don't mind that kind of 50-55 MPH driving, it's when the limit is 55 on a twisty-turny narrow road that I get freaked out, especially with my dad making comments next to me. "this turn? they mean that 35 MPH limit sign. people always meet at the top of this hill the hard way". THANKS for making sure I'm relaxed, dad. :P
