I heard it might be coming out in 2010 (or some where in the future anyways...) lefty 08-10-2004, 05:52 AM how would that work? :confusion Not having to do laundry? I can deal with that. Magln Meow 08-10-2004, 06:08 AM Hmm... Could you be a little more discriptive, where did you here this. Do you have the resource? Otherwise that would be kinda cool, never having to wash clothes or caring about accidently spilling soup on your new clothes! :hehe: Monkey Bizzle 08-10-2004, 06:31 AM if you think that is weird... i was in walmart the other day buying laundry detergent and they have this solution that you supposedly soak your clothes in and it makes them protect you from the sun... ::raises eyebrow:: if you are wearing clothes, isn't that part of your body protected anyways?!?! Roxx 08-10-2004, 10:09 AM ahahaha soo tru MB -yea self cleaning clothes would be soo much easier. Think of the money saved on detergent, bleach, and dry cleaning Sheila 08-10-2004, 11:18 AM Hmm... I would say they would be pretty expensive, but it would be worth it to never wash your clothes ever again! :) sebluver 08-10-2004, 05:52 PM I wonder how much you would have to pay for that type of clothing. I bet no matter the amount, it'll give Chanel a run for her money. kittycat 08-10-2004, 06:06 PM That is kind of cool... but if it's expensive the ones who buy it will be those who don't even do their own laundry in the first place :P sjb 08-10-2004, 07:16 PM what if its the evening and you dirty your clothes and your outside and theres not much light....:S just what we need people putting ALL their clothes outside in the summer.."just incase there's some dirt" what about smells? does it get rid of them? jazzberry 08-10-2004, 07:34 PM It sounds interesting... "Basically the whole thing started when we decided to make fabrics functional and more intelligent," he says intelligent fabric eh? I hope he means intelligent-looking... sebluver 08-10-2004, 07:45 PM intelligent fabric eh? I hope he means intelligent-looking... Wow, that made me think..and now I'm afraid that if I wore pants made out of that stuff I'd lose a leg. jazzberry 08-10-2004, 08:15 PM what if they (the clothing) tries to take over the world?!? xero 08-10-2004, 10:36 PM what if they (the clothing) tries to take over the world?!? You sound paranoid...what kind of clothing can rule the world? he he Munchkin 08-11-2004, 01:03 AM ^ Maybe evil self-cleaning clothes.......no thanks, I'll stick with my un-intelligent clothes. If the price was the same as normal clothes, yeah, maybe I'd give it a try..but..intelligent? *shiver* Little Hushy 08-11-2004, 01:25 AM what if its the evening and you dirty your clothes and your outside and theres not much light....:S just what we need people putting ALL their clothes outside in the summer.."just incase there's some dirt" what about smells? does it get rid of them? I heard they wove special little microchips into the clotheing... All you have to do is put it in natural light and it will take the stains and/or smells out of the clothes  ... Rosekeet 08-11-2004, 01:47 AM :confusion: The whole things sounds a little weird to me. I'd rather just wash my clothes, thanks. Wouldn't they get faded if you left them out in the sun to clean them? sebluver 08-11-2004, 02:03 AM Haha, I'm trying to imagine evil, intelligent clothing: "And what's that pocket for?" "Oh, that's for the extra brain." "Where'd it go?" "Oh God. It's loose." |
