yup, I think if things are kept the same as much as possible it will be easier to decide whom to vote for.

Or maybe you can do Broken by Seether and Amy Lee. Most of the song is sang in two parts, so if you have a higher voice you can sing Amy Lee's or if you're lower you can sing the other guy's. It would suck if you're in the middle though...

And what would be kinda cool is if we sorta mixed them together in the end to see how it sounds.

Actually, voice quality is not affected by the addition of music. A person either sings properly from their diaphragm, or they do not. A full, beautiful voice will still be a full, beautiful voice without music...
To a trained ear maybe, but to someone who's tone-deaf and totally a-musical, it does make a difference, take my word for it. If one person sings with music and the other sings without, I cannot tell who has the prettier voice. (Maybe I shouldn't be allowed to vote LOL)

Was it super scary? we just had another storm here and i was screaming like a little girl, the lightning cracks were so loud and the thunder was almost deafening, id just sit and cry throughout a hurricane lol

Hey you guys! I said I was gonna stay out of this, but uhhh it's getting kind of out-of-hand and I don't want BG to come back and see that people have been talking negatively about her!! As has been said, BG is away until the 29th. Taking that into consideration, I believe that she should have until the 30th to enter her song. Whether or not Sarah has submitted her song, BG must have taken bethy's post seriously and knew that she had a long time to prepare her song. Also, Sarah had said she was extremely busy also, so it's only fair that they have ample time for their song entries. We don't know what's going on with her right now, so as long as she knows that she has until the 30th, we should give her the benefit of the doubt. I don't know why you think that she tried to get out of the last competition, I think everyone's been taking it quite well. :) So play nice!

actually, if you read back a few pages, a few people said that she was on vacation and someone even quoted the post where she said she wasn't going to be here. but i am glad that it was decided she could stay!

hmm, four days huh? lessee.. must have lots of food prepared..omg, greatest idea...well, maybe not. but what if we did like what they did with american idol, and everyone who entered picks their best song, and then one of the mods or something posts them, so we could make CDs! ...-_- maybe too complicated. i still think there should be a CD... <3<3 just thought...

Wow, I come back and everythings not how I had intended. Marie if it wasnt for this being last round, I'd have to take you out. You're not the host, and you're not doing your job anyways. Bubblegummy has time, she said she was going on vacation, plus I was at camp so its not like I was here either. Besides, it just gives lots of time to prepare a good song :)

umm rules are pretty much enter a song by a deadline/specified amount of time, no voting for yourself, or getting other people to vote for you

yep any member in leia can participate

It's based on the voter's discretion and if there is a tie we have a selected panal of judges to vote who will move on

We just have one big group of contestants and they sing songs from themes we choose

well, i just think a year is such a long time :P and i thought it might be cool if it were "seasonal".. or semi-annual, like once in the summer and once at winter break, when a lot of people go on the forum bc of vacation from school and whatnot.

it's most likely gunna be every summer lol :lol: i dunno it sounds good now but it gets old after a while and not everyone has the same holidays so summer is perfect cos most everyone is here :)
