just wanted know what everyone did this summer or are planning to do. im going to washington on august 20. it sux kinda. i went to hawaii last month and it was fun!! and i think thats about it. oh yeah and i just went to the mall and did stuff. yup. nothing special or exciting. lol

Ah, the word vacation just brings happy thoughts to mind. :D

My parents and brother are going down to our beach house for a week. I am not going, simply because I hate family vacations and would be much more comfortable at home with my 'puter. :)

10 glorious days with the entire house to myself, whilst I will play my LP music as loud as I want and stay online chatting until 3 a.m. without getting yelled at "I need the phone" or "go to bed its late" :D

ahh that sounds good. 10 days wow. i only get like 2 or 3 days. and we have DSL so no one can yell at me. hehe.

I didn't get a vacation this summer :( But the week after Christmas will be spent in the Caribbean :hehe:

I just went to Jacksonville in late June/early July for about two weeks. It was alright, I guess. It too hot and humid for me, but what I liked about Jacksonville was the thunderstorms. I thought they were awesome. I'd sit out in the porch just watching the lightning in the sky... Ahh, I wish I could see them again. lol

I went to America (Pennsylvania) to visit my family from June 5th until July 6th.

next week im going to portland where the people are really nice =]

I'm going to France on the 22nd August for a week :)

i went to las vegas [bleh] and then to national parks in utah and arizona.

I went to Hoorn for 10 days (In holland that is) and yesterday i went to sixflags holland... i can now feel every muscle i have in my body :P Next year i probably go to Salou (spain) or something with friends...

but Las Vegas doesn't interest me all that much (even if I was 21+). I'm not in that big a hurry to go out and gamble :P

and I think I see enough of it on CSI- including of the roller coasters, even though you could tell that coaster flying off the tracks and into a car was totally fake :P

Well...*takes a deeeep breath*

To kick off the summer, we drove up to Oklahoma to spend a week with my gma, and then drove over to Arkansas, to see my other grandparents. Drove home from there. Then we went to the beach for three days. Theeen...I just recently got back from our "big" vacation:

1. Drove to Cincinatti for my dad's conference. While we were there we went to King's Island. (That was fun.)
2. Drove from Cincinatti to Springfield, IL to see my aunt and uncle.
3. Drove from Springfield to Chicago, stayed the day.
4. Drove from Chicago to Milwaulkee to visit a college.
5. Drove back to Chicago, went to Six Flags - Great America.
6. Drove home. ;)

That only took 9 days!

For Canada Day our choir went to Ottawa for the week(June 28-July2) to participate in the UNISONG Festival. Lotsa fun, met lotsa people!

Then my mom had friends come visit us for a week. Right after that my uncle got married so we made a road trip to Saginaw, Michigan.

And the rest of the time I'm spending on the computer and watching TV :D (I'm too lazy to do anything else)

We're going to Vermont/NH next week, I'm not expecting much from it... I mean the only states more boring than those must be those ones in the middle of the country :P Except for the whole Ben & Jerry's thing. And seeing what American WalMarts are like :P

but i'm sure it would be a bit more enjoyable if i were 21, as you said. because you can't gamble in las vegas until you are 21 because all the casinos sell alcoholic drinks.. and there's really nothing else to do there.. so, yeah :lol: and some of the hotels, like bellagio [sp?] & venician [sp again?] aren't allowing people under 17 in!! because i guess they get less money from families bc the parents won't leave the children to go gamble.. so they really only get a good profit from 20-year-olds and such coming to gamble and "party".

las vegas = yucky :P

I went camping with MooMoo in Princeton, B.C. ;) And on Saturday I leave for a placed named Galiano off B.C.'s coast. One of my best friends owns a cabin there for summer vacations, and we're renting it for the family for a week. Then I get back, then I'm off to Kelowna for a week...not too exciting, but I get to go to Hawaii in Spring Break. So, that's something.

I've been to the Calgary Stampede...and, it's not summer but at May we went to Disneyworld. WORLD! It's humoungous!

I've done nothing fun so far.

But this month should be fun because I am going to Warped Tour and Six Flags. Yay.

Let's see. I went to summer camp, Grey Fox (woo, Bluegrass festival), Block Island, and I'm going to Cape Cod. I'm probably going to hate Cape Cod though, because I'll be surrounded by ye olde folk(s) the whole time.

We spent most of the summer moving from. :rolleyes: I hate moving. I still can't find more then half of my stuff

ive been to vegas but i dont get to gamble or anything which really sux. but its okay because i dont know how to play most of the games there haha. vegas is crappy in the summer. one time i left my walkman in my car... came back an hour later then part of the plastic was melted.
