View Full Version : Trends that make no sense to you.
weird girl 08-09-2004, 12:04 AM Oh joy, another "I'm bored, so why not start a useless thread?" thread. :hehe:
But basically, what are some trends that you never understood? :P
Mine are:
1. A random celebrity in a layout that look like it was just taken from some site and then plastered onto the page.
2. "Transparent" iframes, especially when the webdesigner uses some putrid color like lime green to make them "transparent."
3. Pointless splash pages that say "respect, etc."
4. Pointless splash pages (in other words, no requirements listed), and then discovering the site doesn't work properly in Firefox. (you would not believe how many times this has happened.)
5. Animated gifs all over the place
6. Margaret. 15. Female. Florida. Palm Trees. Drawing. Can't. Type. Proper. Sentences. When it's done with sentences ie. Margaret is a 15-year old girl living in Florida. She likes palm trees, drawing...etc. it's okay, but when you have words with a period after them, it gets annoying, especially since when I read, I hear the words in my head. :P
7. Ridiculously small text.
8. Insanely short shorts/skirts
9. Songs that say crap like "Party! Party! Let's hit the clubs and do....... stuff"
10. Manufactured pop music
11. Artists who make so much money and whatnot because they look good, not because they have talent.
I have far far too many. :P
Body piercings. Jewelry of any kind. Even though I wear jewelry, it really is pointless, unless it's a watch or something. :P
salomeyasobko 08-09-2004, 12:32 AM well i can't think of very many at the moment but.. a few random ones come to mind:
internet-related:
1)sites with HUGE background images that require you to scroll down/to the side for like 10 minutes before you find the actual content
3)sites with HUGE background images and then a 20pixel wide strip containing all of the content in which the text is impossible to read. okay maybe the strips are a little wider than 20 pixels :P
4)sites in which all of the text looks like the filter: chroma thing went wrong because the text is all bold and mixed together and the letters are see-through except for the outline of 'em so i have to highlight the writing to make out what it says!! i hate that!!
real life:
2)girls who wear skirts with ugs
3)girls who wear jeans and ugs with the jeans tucked into the ugs to look cute
4)girls who wear pink/blue ugs
and sorry if i spelled ugs wrong, i can never remember if there's one G or two :P
lol uggs..
I never understood the furby craze :P
Lil Sarah 08-09-2004, 12:50 AM Uhm. Ponchos? What is up with them? Sorry if you own one, I just think they're odd.
sisqoluv 08-09-2004, 12:50 AM I can't really think of any online stuff that hasn't been said, but offline:
layering: I mean having about three or so random color shirts on and then a few different bottoms (jeans and a skirt, for example)... I just don't get it. Thank goodness I haven't seen anyone where I living trying to pull it, but it's supposedly popular, according to teen fashion mags
Tsuki Usagi 08-09-2004, 01:29 AM Uhm. Ponchos? What is up with them? Sorry if you own one, I just think they're odd.
They are for girls who want to look like their gramma
kittycat 08-09-2004, 01:29 AM What are uggs? :P
I don't get the print t-shirts with dumb sayings on them and whatnot, the only place I ever see a plain shirt any more is Old Navy. You can ee through them too. On that note, it really doesn't make sense that things are getting smaller and tighter yet more money.
If I were to go on about all the online trendy things it would take forever :P
Tsuki Usagi 08-09-2004, 01:36 AM What are uggs? :P
Uggs come from chickens, you eat them for breakfast and used the in recipies.
I think the are boots, really dorky looking boots.
AiJahya 08-09-2004, 02:15 AM I don't understand why high-heeled, pointy-toed shoes are "in" this year. They're so ugly. That, and around here, a huuuuuge fad is high-heeled sneakers. Yes, I'm serious. Sneakers with high-heels. Would anyone with half a brain wear those? Showing as much skin as possible is another fad I don't get.
I can't really think of any on-internet fads... I'm sure I can think of some later, though. ;)
11. Artists who make so much money and whatnot because they look good, not because they have talent.
Major ditto!!
stargrl329 08-09-2004, 03:22 AM Haha, I was talking about this at dinner tonight: there was this trend in first grade that I never understood. It had to do with an odd eating ritual at lunch which involved putting ketchup on your pizza and eating your straw wrapper. Needless to say, I was not part of the in-crowd in first grade.
My brother contributed to the conversation by saying that the new trend in his 4th-grade class is to wear your pants backwards, which I think must be hilarious for the teacher to watch. I probably wouldn't even be able to fit into my pants if they were on backwards, nevermind sit down for 6 hours like that. :lolol:
I think the are boots, really dorky looking boots.
glad that was cleared up...
hmm..i don't like how
-pants cost the same as a pair of shorts/ a skirt
-the whole rolling up of skirts/kilts so its so short that....:S
-when one person dyes their hair how 50 people do it after...and all the same colour...atleast pick something new
-the huge deal with claire's and all their little gadgets...you're so over charged why keep buying :S....
-all the new stores that have the words "TEEN" in their names and once you go in....even the largest size wouldn't fit the average teenager...
i have more
sisqoluv 08-09-2004, 05:10 AM I'm one who tries to stay away from shirts with stupid "girly-girly" sayings. If I happen to buy a shirt with a saying (hardly), it's something nerdy, lol.
My mom keeps telling me pink and black is in... Yucky!
Those pointy, high heel shoes are gross, too. Well, a lot of the popular shoes nowadays are annoying.
salomeyasobko 08-09-2004, 05:37 AM i wear uggs for swim because it gets cold and it is very convenient to have something warm to wear on my feet. but not to look cute ;)
uggs [two g's i spose :stickout:] are like rain boots [what's the specific word for them? something with a G?].. but they're very warm and fuzzy inside :D
bubblegummy 08-09-2004, 09:15 AM Heh, here we have girls put LOADS of gel in their hair so that the hair looks completely flat on their heads, then they have a ponytail... it's hard to explain.
Von Dutch. I just don't see the appeal, sorry...
MaGiCSuN 08-09-2004, 12:15 PM Uggs: http://www.uggaustralia.com/?AID=1510709&PID=969845
rather pointless yeah :P you look more like a fool with them then a 'fashion' item :P
i hate when people use transparent iframes when they are just NOt nessecary, like on a plain part of the layout. I have the same problem as sal, i see the text all bold and weird looking (only on my laptop though, my computer displays fine) and when it's not really nessecary it really bugs me!
I wonder why people can't just 'slice out' that part of the layout and put that as a background in the iframe.
Love,
Mirna
Munchkin 08-09-2004, 08:18 PM Omg, I laughed so hard at the uggs XDD
Um, those pointy tipped shoes drive me crazy. The shoes that end in a point, I'm like, hello? Human feet don't end in a point!
Tsuki Usagi 08-09-2004, 08:20 PM Those ugg things look like people ran out of shoes and decided to wear their snowboots.
salomeyasobko 08-09-2004, 08:24 PM Um, those pointy tipped shoes drive me crazy. The shoes that end in a point, I'm like, hello? Human feet don't end in a point!
my mommy likes&wears 'em. i think they're elegant :P
Tsuki Usagi 08-09-2004, 08:27 PM But they hurt when someone kicks you with them ooooh
sebluver 08-09-2004, 08:33 PM my mommy likes&wears 'em. i think they're elegant :P
Yeah, but if you wear them too often they warp your feet. My grandma wears those and has for probably 40-60 years, and her toes are all squished together in a point, it's creepy.
I only mind them if they're so drastically pointed, like these (http://www2.victoriassecret.com/commerce/application/prodDisplay/?namespace=productDisplay&origin=onlineProductDisplay.jsp&event=display&prnbr=MB-170212&cgnbr=OSSHUWORZZZ&rfnbr=733&page=2&cgname=OSSHUWORZZZ). You'd have to have your feet end in a point or be a size 2 (US) to fit in those. That's crazy talk.
I have to admit they look all right...but yeah, feet don't end in a point. What I don't get is those high heeled sneaker. Aren't sneakers for running? It'll be pretty hard even walk in those things...
Tsuki Usagi 08-09-2004, 08:40 PM People's feet around round either, though , or square.
freakEgurl 08-09-2004, 08:48 PM oh god, i could go on forever about trends.
-> lip gloss. I dispise that stuff. It should die.
->girls who wear extreame amounghts of gel when they dont need it.
-> when people wears Uggs in summer. Im sorry, but boots in summer? maybe they're drunk or something.
-> transparent iframes. oh god, those things should die. i even have a hatelisting for them, i hate them so much.
-> 'ripped' jeans. Why would you buy something thats supposedly ripped for you. just buy a pair of cheap unripped jeans and rip them yourself.
-> old trend, but gel pens. My god i hatethose things. the scented ones are worse.
-> one word : roxy.
->high heels. they should die. Specially when the heel is like quarter on an inch around.
//edit
Yeah, but if you wear them too often they warp your feet. My grandma wears those and has for probably 40-60 years, and her toes are all squished together in a point, it's creepy.

lol. yeah. they really do warp your feet. my mom and grandma both have really warped feet. mum has this huse bunnion. those arent fun
xstaticxpallorx 08-09-2004, 08:51 PM tYp1nG lyK tHi$ g0t rEaL aNn0yInG 2 rEaD after a while. :D
jazzberry 08-09-2004, 08:56 PM ugh those really pointy shoes, they look sooo bad! ugh I wanna take all of them that exist in the world and toss them in the garbage.
And really short skirts. Especially when there aren't shorts underneath or anything. How are you supposed to function in one? You can't sit, you can't bend, basically all you're good for in those short short skirts is standing.
There are more, but I'm suffering from a random bout of memory loss ;)
salomeyasobko 08-09-2004, 08:58 PM But they hurt when someone kicks you with them oooohexactly ;) :stickout:
Yeah, but if you wear them too often they warp your feet.
my mom only wears them when she gets "dressed up" :D
she also never wears shoes with high heels [because she's tall].. i think her highest heel is 1 inch :confusion
Tsuki Usagi 08-09-2004, 09:06 PM A lot of types of footwear warp people's feet. Some of the girls, I dance with, their toes are permanently curled. So are a some of the gymnasts I know.
I hate pens the smell like fruit or mint
Valkyrie 08-09-2004, 09:46 PM Uggs. Where I live, its usually warm most of the time, so I find them pretty pointless.
The worst thing is stupid, tight, small shirts. I have to buy my shirts way too big. :P
Any clothing that's too short, too tight, or too see through. I think they're absolutely disgusting...
sisqoluv 08-09-2004, 10:22 PM Here's one of the trends I can't stand:
http://www.famousfootwear.com/product.asp?p=1005777%7E&variant_id=22760
It's not the exact shoe, but it's the closest I can find. I one my mom says sells quickly and is "in" is pointer at the tip and has much more pink.
Another trend I can't stand are sneakers with heels. Yuck! I spotted them in my Easy Bay magazine. They look like everyday sneakers/running shoes with a heel.
A trend I can't stand at my school is wearing slippers to school. Thank goodness it's dress code  People used to also wear their PJs, but that's now dress code except for PJ day.
Oh, and I just thought of another one...pyjamas. People wear their pyjamas to school. Those things are just about as fashionable as a garbage bag.
sebluver 08-09-2004, 11:06 PM The whole California obsession bothers me. Honestly, when I see those girls wearing "California babe" or whatever those shirts say around here, I want to yell, "YOU'VE NEVER BEEN TO CALIFORNIA! We're in Connecticut, hon. Last time you saw California was on a map."
Tsuki Usagi 08-09-2004, 11:11 PM I haven't seen any sneakers with heals, and I can't grasp the consept of those.
A lot of the teens around here have fake peircing
i really dont get y people, mostly guys, wear those sweat bands on their wrists and head when they arent doing anything to get sweaty? Whats the point!
starlet 08-10-2004, 12:17 AM Its funny, id never heard of Uggs either...then since this thread i heard someone say it on BBUSA and The OC
sisqoluv 08-10-2004, 12:32 AM What's funny is, I live in CALI and most the state fan shirts have NY, Hawaii, or something else printed on them
I've never heard of "Uggs", but I've seen them. I haven't spotted anyone at school wearing them (I'll see in a few weeks), but my mom told me they sale out fast... Why? We live in Southern California! lol
Monkey Bizzle 08-10-2004, 12:56 AM i really dont get y people, mostly guys, wear those sweat bands on their wrists and head when they arent doing anything to get sweaty? Whats the point!
I bought a pair of jeans at Aeropostale and they had this deal on denim where if you buy denim you got a wristband free... all they had were ugly colors and the things normally sold for like 10 bucks!! and... it didn't even have the company name on them so you definately weren't paying for that... since we HAD to take one, i use it as a hair thing sometimes... LOL...
I haven't seen any sneakers with heals, and I can't grasp the consept of those.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=63889&item=5315299087#ebayphotohosting
you get the idea now?
Munchkin 08-10-2004, 12:56 AM I don't mind if pointy shoes are rounded, but seriously the ones that end in complete point drive me insane...
salomeyasobko 08-10-2004, 12:59 AM i always see these shoes:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=63889&item=5314960938&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW#ebayphotohosting
in stores
and i think they're SO UGLY
i was going to write that when i saw sisqoluv's post but then i realized that was probably what she was talking about
AiJahya 08-10-2004, 01:06 AM Around here they have sneakers that lace up to the knee and are high-heeled. *shudders*
sisqoluv 08-10-2004, 03:47 AM Sneakers with heels that I spotted looked like Sketchers (Engergy). I already cut the letters out of the mag (for a personal project) and threw it away, but I'll be sure to scan them next time I spot them.
This isn't the shoe or brand, but think of something in this shape with a heal you'd expect on a pair of high heeled dress shoes: http://www.famousfootwear.com/product.asp?p=5010447%7E&variant_id=20904
Makar 08-10-2004, 04:23 AM 9. Songs that say crap like "Party! Party! Let's hit the clubs and do....... stuff"
Aw, but a lot of songs that have pointless lyrics are fun!
I'm the invisible man, I'm the invisible man, incredible how you can see right through me!
Its funny, id never heard of Uggs either...then since this thread i heard someone say it on BBUSA and The OC
I know what you mean, once you've learnt what something new meansit starts to pop up everywhere...
on that uggaustralia site the fluffy one looks so comfy but i probably wouldn't wear it....i'd feel wierd....
Aw, but a lot of songs that have pointless lyrics are fun!
I'm the invisible man, I'm the invisible man, incredible how you can see right through me!
Yeah, sometimes, but they should at least have a meaning!! And they're not always fun, usually they're pretty annoying...
weird girl 08-11-2004, 01:20 AM Aw, but a lot of songs that have pointless lyrics are fun!
I like a lot of songs with pointless lyrics, :P but when they start talking about partying, and girls, and stuff that can't be mentioned on a G-rated forum, it just ruins it. Unfortunately, these songs have overrun the radio, which is why I no longer listen to it. :P
Ravie 08-11-2004, 01:47 AM uggs is short for ugggggggggggggggggggally. what in the world????????????????????????????????????????????? ???
My peiceings are not fake. I have my tongue pierced :P
animegurl65 08-11-2004, 12:44 PM no one mentioned my hated trend--pants with words on the seat. esp. on short shorts. i just want to shout "Excuse me, but your butt is already hanging out, so why call attention to it????" then, there are thongs. not a thong person, and i hate it when you can see the top of the out of their pants!><;; it's funny, but i when i read this, it reminded me of an issue of 17 magazine. theyasked celebs about the trends they hoped would pass, and three said Ugg boots. ^_^;; but i want a fur muff...
Monkey Bizzle 08-11-2004, 03:31 PM uggs is short for ugggggggggggggggggggally.
LOL!!!
adrielle 08-11-2004, 04:16 PM Someone I heard swallowed their toungue piercing thingy uh, ring? :confusion wonder what happened to her, I forgot :P Does it bother..sometimes?
I think uggs are absurd in a warm place. Yeah, they are uggggalyy
pointy shoes are quite point-less if you're gonna wear them all the time. But i think they look quite um, elegant [as sal said] for uh, special occasions. My sis calls them Aladdin shoes ;)
the stuff mentioned here are what I'd list as senseless fads too...I have a few others but they seemed to be stored at the back of my mind :P
sisqoluv 08-11-2004, 09:13 PM Another thing I always hated was the pants that aren't quite pants. I mean, they go just a few inches past your knees. They're not quite pants, and they're not quite shorts. I forgot what they're called, but I always hated them   I like my pants to cover the top of my shoe.
Another thing I always hated was the pants that aren't quite pants. I mean, they go just a few inches past your knees. They're not quite pants, and they're not quite shorts. I forgot what they're called, but I always hated them   I like my pants to cover the top of my shoe.
Capris? Pedal pushers?

They're not quite pants, and they're not quite shorts. I forgot what they're called, but I always hated them   I like my pants to cover the top of my shoe.
I believe they're capris. I personally love them, although right now they're very popular at my school. :P No, I am not an anti-conformist, I'm a person with a "it's not as good when it's popular" attitude. :P
They're called capris, or pedal-pushers. And I like them. They're not too warm or too cool. And I don't think they're a trend...they've been around for a while.
lefty 08-11-2004, 09:22 PM no one mentioned my hated trend--pants with words on the seat. esp. on short shorts.
I never did understand the point of those. And it always says something dumb like "cutie" or whatever. :P
sisqoluv 08-11-2004, 09:43 PM Yeah, capris, that's it. They are a trend... That just won't die. It depends on where you live, though. They've been a trend for quite a while. My mom keeps saying I should wear them because they would look nice on me, but I don't like the style.
I never did understand the point of those. And it always says something dumb like "cutie" or whatever. :P
I don't like shirts or pants with that dumb stuff.
My mom doesn't let me wear clothing with those words, not that I want to. They're so...for those people who are so full of themselves...
I hate them too. Especially the ones that say "bootylicious". :P
No thanks to Beyonce :hehe:
Tsuki Usagi 08-11-2004, 10:40 PM no one mentioned my hated trend--pants with words on the seat. esp. on short shorts.
I have a pair of sweat pants that say swat this on the back of the seat  Don't ask me why.
sisqoluv 08-11-2004, 11:40 PM I have a pair of sweat pants that say swat this on the back of the seat  Don't ask me why.
 I won't ask why.
gizmoshrooms 08-12-2004, 12:24 AM the pants/shorts with words on the seat annoy me too, and so does everyone dyeing their hair black all of a sudden just cuz it's the "in thing", or short shorts/skirts  , or wearing shirts that are way too small for you and u know it but u ignore it, or wen peeps buy new shoes just cuz the brand is now "in", and a few more that i can't quite remember right now. so have a lovely day!
im soo tired
no one mentioned my hated trend--pants with words on the seat. esp. on short shorts. i just want to shout "Excuse me, but your butt is already hanging out, so why call attention to it????"
I know people who wear them and then get offended because there are people reading their butts, or guys read it and start making fun of them...
gizmoshrooms 08-12-2004, 02:29 AM I have friends like that, and then wen they catch som one looking or peeps saying somthing they get completely offended, wen it's their fault. their the ones that dress like that. then they act all shocked, give me a break! have a lovely day!
yea exactly, i mean the whole purpose of those shorts/pants are to draw the attention down there. if they dont want that extra attention then dont wear those types of clothes.
JiNgLeBeLLz77 08-12-2004, 09:29 AM real life:
2)girls who wear skirts with ugs

LLLLOLLLL  that's *exactly* the kind of stuff the girls at my school wears...
adrielle 08-12-2004, 09:48 AM I have a pair of sweat pants that say swat this on the back of the seat  Don't ask me why.
I won't ask

Three-quarters they're called too..um, I like them :) It wasn't a trend..I've just always liked them :P :)
onegurlrvltion 08-12-2004, 05:42 PM I hate them too. Especially the ones that say "bootylicious". :P
lol, those are pretty stupid! One of my stupid-trend-i-hope-passes is like when a new actor or something comes on the scene, theres like 20 billion new fansites, and then they all shut down, and u can't find the real good ones!
also, the "girl power" stars (hilary d. lindsey l. anne h. ect.) making the VERY SAME MOVIE again and again. IT NEVER ENDS!
also, the "girl power" stars (hilary d. lindsey l. anne h. ect.) making the VERY SAME MOVIE again and again. IT NEVER ENDS!
Yeah! I mean they all practically have the same plot, good vs. worse...and I can't believe they're selling!
sisqoluv 08-12-2004, 09:58 PM also, the "girl power" stars (hilary d. lindsey l. anne h. ect.) making the VERY SAME MOVIE again and again. IT NEVER ENDS!
Ew! Annoying and talentless (imo). I also hate that little fad. I'll be sure to mark my calendar the day that ends.
weird girl 08-12-2004, 11:15 PM How could I forget that um, "bleeding mascara" look I see on a lot of layouts? Well, I wouldn't say it's a trend just yet, but I've seen it in quite a few places, and I think it looks awful!
babigirl4u01 08-13-2004, 04:47 AM oOo the new "fashion craze" i really hate right now are those really REALLY mini skirts that these girls are wearing, they have ruffles, and you can see their butcheeks from under them. I thinks its disgusting, and if you are going o wear something that short i think it wouldnt look bad if you wore a pair of bootleg cut jeans under them or sumthin! please cover up those legs nobody wants to see the ripples on your Butt!
--claire--
Dance like nobody is watching, Sing like nobody is listening, Live like you've never lived before, Love like you've NEVER been hurt before!
Rosey 08-13-2004, 05:45 AM I haven't read to whole thread so if this has been mentioned I'm sorry :)
What I never understood is people wearing sweat pants and then they have one pant leg all the way down, normal...and the other brought up to their knee....what's up with that???
But yes, the writting on the butt is something else...
Ravie 08-13-2004, 06:06 AM I haven't read to whole thread so if this has been mentioned I'm sorry :)

Oh, I have done that before, when It was cold, and I just woke up. I was too lazy to fix it. Never went outside like that, though. My sons do that as well, sooo stylish are they ;)
adrielle 08-13-2004, 08:06 AM Lol so does my (little) sister ;)
Monkey Bizzle 08-13-2004, 03:13 PM oOo the new "fashion craze" i really hate right now are those really REALLY mini skirts that these girls are wearing, they have ruffles, and you can see their butcheeks from under them. pants under a skirt... i don't think so... why not just skip the skirt all together
AiJahya 08-13-2004, 03:38 PM "Pant Skirts" are a style that's slowly becoming popular. They're pants...with a skirt sewn to them over the top. Why? I don't understand. What's the point?
Monkey Bizzle 08-13-2004, 03:44 PM exactly
sisqoluv 08-13-2004, 06:09 PM "Pant Skirts" are a style that's slowly becoming popular. They're pants...with a skirt sewn to them over the top. Why? I don't understand. What's the point?
Many people just put any skirt over their pants. I've seen it in a ton of fashion magazines, but I hope I never meet someone wearing it, But the ones in mags have random pants with random skirts with random tops (usually layered).
AiJahya 08-13-2004, 06:51 PM But...why?
westernrider 08-13-2004, 09:29 PM Oh goodness... this will take a while for me to write... I didn't read the whole thread... so sorry if I am repeating.
- People who wear ties as belts... ties are for your neck...
- People who will wear baby cloths... like a girl I know once wore this little boys batman shirt... and she had to put two shirts under that so she wouldn't be violating the dress code
- Butt shorts... they are made so you can get people to look at your butt... and they all say stuff like "Baby Girl", "Soccer", "Sugar", "Bad Girl", "Naughty", "Bite Me"... or the ones that have hand pints on them that say "Don't Touch This" are the worse
- When people put really random images on their skin with permenant (sp?) ink
- "Punk" converse shoes... wear people will buy high tops are color all over them
the list goes on...
but, I don't feel like writing it :P

Haha, two girls did that last year to a boy with a bic pen. They drew flowers and hearts, and wrote, "I love shopping!" on it. He was kind of shocked.
salomeyasobko 08-13-2004, 10:09 PM LLLLOLLLL  that's *exactly* the kind of stuff the girls at my school wears...

Lissa 08-13-2004, 10:23 PM Maybe it's just me, but I hate the knee socks when they're done wrong *grimace* My sister does that  And socks with sandals.. sorry, I didn't read this whole thread either, just the butt-shorts thing.. WHOOPS I have a pair of those, but they're big and they say Wildcats, as in Lexington?

hey what's wrong with converse... you know they've been around long before it was trendy to wear them...
salomeyasobko 08-13-2004, 10:27 PM i was at the UCLA dining hall visiting my sister and this girl had butt-shorts on that said "daddy's girl" on them. that seemed rather.. wrong.. to me :hehe:

and i saw a pair that said "juicy" on them.. eww :lol:Nasty...
"Pant Skirts" are a style that's slowly becoming popular. They're pants...with a skirt sewn to them over the top. Why? I don't understand. What's the point?
Those were kinda popular in the early 90's. I had a pair :P
westernrider 08-13-2004, 11:48 PM oh my gosh... I remember thoes... but, they were sort of high water tights with a skirt built in... and they were crazy colors like bright pink... it purple hearts all over them :P
sisqoluv 08-14-2004, 01:15 AM A stupid trend at my school is wearing your belt across your butt.
