I own a web-based horse racing SIM game, due online in September. Despite the current work not being finished, I have been considering upgrades for the site, and know that 'visuals' will be a big 'can-we-have' issue.
Presumably, this is a big job, requiring specialist help, and I was wondering whether anyone could suggest or recommend any companies that would be able to produce a race visual structure to add to the SIM.
The results of the races are determined by a mathmatical equation, based on a horses preferences, occasionally horses will fall, and those running with poor preferences may not finish the course. The 'visuals' need to correspond with this aspect of the game.
I realise it could be a costly addition to the game, and I understand that I am likely to need to make changes to the server package I use etc, but I would like to be able to research the project extensively before the players ask about them. That way, I can either say 'no, it won't work for this reason...' or 'sure, its being considered'.
Any help would be much appreciated. I can be contacted via email (ambidextrous27@hotmail.com) if required.
