I am litterally confined to my lounge cos theres a huge spider in the hall! I'm so scared of spiders. So I wondered what else people were scared of to keep me occupied and mind off said spider :eurgh:

Feel free to post any odd ones  My odd phobia is hair (It's a long wierd story)

i'm too afraid to get rid of spiders myself, so i'll ask my mom/dad/sister to.. and i always tell them to let the spider go outside, because i feel bad for them :hehe:

I can put up with spiders, it's just the wasps (and some bees) that creep me out... especially if there's a bee or wasp in the pool...
Other biting/stinging bugs also scare me... but wasps are the worst. :P

What about public speaking ? Spiders arent all that bad, but just thinking I have a speach the next day keeps me up half the night. I always think im gonna mess up...

Yes. lol. I can't bring myself to kill the spiders either, so I ask some one else to do it. Only bug I can take outside would be an ant. I just make them get on a piece of paper, and then I just throw them outside. o_o;

If it's a smallish spider I can handle taking them outside but the big ones just move to fast and you can see all their details and eurgh they are just so nasty.

Yah public speaking is the worst! Doesn't stop me sleeping though.

I'm scared of giant swarms of bees...not that I remember ever coming across one though (whew!).

your ears must have been burnin.....yesterday i just recalled about 3 years ago......

....in about 2 days out of no where i didnt even notice it, but, behind my window is a lower roof-part thingy to the stairs to my basement. well on the very edge corner like i say in about 2 days bees formed a cone, not a nest, about 3 times the size of my head. Now im 16, so a normal person not a 8 year old with a small head, lol. Anyways there head to have been...wow i couldnt even guess, room for a few thousand bees in it, although there was probably only a couple hundred in and out. Only a few ever came by the window, and i think only 1 ever got in somehow, but i could just sit and watch out the window and be(E), lol, amazed/freaked out at the same time. I mow the lawn usually and i refused to go over there for a few weeks. It was so amzing how big it was and day by day it just got bigger. I think i remember my dad not beliving me when i told him first but then he looked at it lol. We were having bat problems at the time too so the guy that came to put traps up ended up spraying it for us, since he knew how to properly take care of it. My sister has had issues with bees in her car the last week or two, they would like get in the mirrors and stuff. Like we would leave to go to the bank, they would all fly around when we were leaving, and as soon as we get back, they are there, waiting to get back "home" lol. Anyways im done talking now, im just really bored lol

I am afraid of spiders, and a tad afraid of heights, but not on roller coasters and such. But when I'm moving freely, I feel like I can fall.

There was once a spider living in our bathtub. He couldn't get out because of the high slick edges of the tub. He lived there a couple weeks, because neither me or my mom wanted to kill it or get it out. I named it Charles and would talk to it while I did stuff in the bathroom (ie. brushed my hair, cleaned my glasses, got ready to go places). We eventually had someone come over and put him outside.

I am so scared of all bugs and spiders....a bug that is minute will scare me...and i refuse to kill them due to this mentality that their brothers/sisters i dunno more bugs will come to seek revenge

vehicals I can't stand being in them, and avoid them as much as is possible. Another thing that get me all squeemish is switchblades. I hate it when people snap those things out.

oh, yeah...knives. They don't scare me when I'm using them, it's when someone else has them. I have this acute fear of being killed with a knife. My friend has a really dull pocket knife, and she threatens me with it. In fact, I don't know why I consider her a friend.

*blush* Now, this is really embarrassing. But I'm afraid of elbows. I have a fear that someone's going to elbow me in the temple, and it'll go through to my brain and kill me. Sure, it's irrational, but I nearly started screaming (well..not nearly) at supper this evening when a centimeter long spider started crawling on my milk glass.

Yeah ditto on that.. I LOATHE spiders!!! They are sooo gross. (im such a tomgirl) i hate tarantulas! I can take care of flies and stuff like that. (if a fly lands on me im okay. it actually kinda tickles.) the only spiders i can take care of are the ones with the long skinny legs and only if there on the ground.

I'm not really afraid of spiders or too many other bugs. If they don't bother me then I won't bother them, even though I'm highly allergec to spider bites. What scares me is crowded spaces (claustraphobia) it's not a small room that i fear it's too many peeps. Because I can remember a few years back when I was younger at a comunity pool, it was way over crowded and peeps were shoveing around and i ended up getting pushed under by a much bigger person then me and i was stuck under untill i was practicly out of breath. then I left right away. sorry I know you didn't ask for a full story i just felt like explaining my phobia.

That sounds like me... Heights don't bother me at all, but if it's an open area (like on top of a ladder) I freak out.

snakes FREAK me out, if they are loose. like if they are in a cage, or in a handler's hands( no pun intended) i am ok, but i saw one walking home from school one day--I SWEAR it hissed at me. but rollercoasters are bad too. i can deal with it, as long as there s a big splash at the end. i like water. ::Pisces:: any way, i am afraid of choking to death on my own hair. seriously, i start to gag, and my stomach turns, if i even think there might be a hair in my mouth. ><

Snakes aren't slimey, they are really fascinating creatures. I used to be kinda scared of them till I actually held one and it's not how you imagine it to be at all!

I am also afraid of escalators/travelators I don't know what you call them in the us but they're like moving stairs. I had to go on like four of them today when I went to the hospital and I was shaking so bad afterwards. I don't know why they scare me. It doesn't help they got big signs going "Many accidents happen on escalators and stairs each year, please be careful" with someone lying at the bottom of an escalator in the picture.
