well, what exactly don't you get about them... CSS is a very broad thing... i take it that you have looked at lissa's CSS section so we will start there... basically, you take the template that you ahve, and replace the words "value" with one of the values that she has listed...

and again... be patient!

http://www.lissaexplains.com/css.shtml

Example:

A:visited
{ text-decoration: value; [underline, overline, underline overline, line-through, blink, none] color:#000000; }

You said you didn't see any values so I was showing you an example. You replace value with one of those options.

So you would do something like this:

A:visited
{ text-decoration: underline; color:#000000; }

whats youre email sheila

so you replaced value with underline?

Sorry I don't give out my email. If you want to know something specifically, just ask. (and be patient)

You can replace it with any of the options highlighted in orange above.

well, if you go here http://www.lissaexplains.com/css.shtml there is a basic CSS template... which i have included part of here to show you...

a:link
{text-decoration: value; [underline, overline, underline overline, line-through, blink, none]
color:#000000;}

the bold part is what you change and you change it to one of the red words and then you take out the whole red section when you actually put it in your CSS page... so, if you wanted all of your links to be underlined and white then this is what this particular section might look like...

a:link
{text-decoration: underline;
color:#FFFFFF;}

Nobody is yelling. We are just getting frustrated, because we don't know what you exactly want help on with CSS. There is the scrollbar colors, the link colors, and so on.

First off, not everyone is on this forum is on 24 hrs. a day, and patience is important in getting help. Many of us have other things to attend to on the computer, such as working on our own websites, and many of us do have somewhat of a life away from the computer. Posting over and over won't get you help any faster, and no one is yelling, we are nice here.

Secondly, about your problem. I think that part of it is that you want to learn it all at once, and you can't do that with CSS. It is just as broad as HTML, and takes a bit longer than a minute to learn. If you want to actually understand all of it, the best you can do is think of the first thing you want to change using CSS, like the link colors, and learn how to do that. Then move on to something such as the background or the scrollbar, and so on.
