i'm trying to get my image to take up my whole page on myspace.com and i need to know the color code for transparent.

can anyone please help me?

It depends on what you want to be transparent. If it's a div, then just don't give it a background color. If it's an iframe, then there's a tutorial on that at http://www.lissaexplains.com/frames.shtml#inline

If you're talking about a main page's background color, well, you can't make that transparent. Your best bet is to resize the image in an image program to make it as large as you need it.

An image editing program, like Microsoft Paint [which comes with just about every computer], Jasc Paint Shop Pro [30-day trial here: http://www.jasc.com ], or Adobe Photoshop [I think they have a 30-day trial also: http://www.adobe.com ].
