i dont know if this question has been posted b4 and if it has i cant find it, but i was wondering if anyone knows of a program thats free/cheap where u can make 3D images besides 3ds max?

i went to the discreet website and was shoked at their price of 3ds max being over $1000. personally i dont even have $100 to begin w/. i want to be able to blend images together and make em look really 3d like the pic in this website (ladyvicious.net) and the layout pic of dan in danradcliffe.com does anyone know of any?

just to let you know, you wouldn't use a 3d program for stuff like that... 3d programs are for making the kinds of things you see in toy story, and monsters inc... actually 3d things...

to get a 3d effect for a photograph, you can use a program like photoshop or gimp maybe...

which is the newest version? i see Photoshop 7.0 and Photoshop CS. are they 2 different products?

cs would be version 8... i believe... now don't quote me on this... =) that photoshop CS combines the 2 programs that you got when you got version 7...
