well uh i think the moon landing was real, but i can't be sure. i don't really care though, haha.

i didn't watch any of the videos bc i don't trust downloads from websites i've never been to before.

you know... i am not sure what i believe... i mean why would the government fake the landing but then again, some of the evidence against the moon landing is pretty convincing...

I think I would be upset if it was fake... it would be one of the biggest scams... EVER... but, I think it is real..

Ah, I didn't check out that site, but I have heard many things about this. My former science teacher even believes that the moon landing video was just an act.

As for me, NASA is a very respectable, dignified bunch who would never pull something like this. The whole point of landing on the moon in the first place was to get back at the Russians for being the first in space. So it wouldn't make sense to do so by filming some tape in a studio and passing it off as genuine, only tabloids would do something so cheap. :P

My point exactly. The messed up nation we are at times, I don't think we would ever do something like that. Especially in the late sixties where you know, more people had morals.

I'm not necessarily saying that the guy has any credibility, but do you always take things at face value? the government said some people landed on the moon, it must be true, right? not so- if that was fake, I'm sure it wasn't the first time or the last that a government agency has misled the public.

I don't necessarily think that it was fake, but I also don't KNOW that it was real.

there are certain things that I believe (not know, but believe) are true, because I believe the evidence in favor of whatever it is. there are other things I question- the point I was trying to make was that people shouldn't say they know something just because someone told them that something is true.

But didn't NASA have good reasons for faking the Apollo missions? What about the Russians?

Absolutely. America was desperate to land on the moon before the USSR, and J.F. Kennedy had made it's NASA's responsibility to do so within a decade. The embarrassment if they had failed would have been considerable. You have to remember that the main driving force behind the Apollo missions was political, not scientific or military. It was a question of putting the commies in their place.

But, having said all that, none of this is proof that they did fake them. And you can be sure that if they were faked, the USSR would have made sure everyone knew about it. They would have been able to tell better than anyone if the missions were faked.
