I am SO confuzzled! My hosting site, www.barronhosting.com has a VERY confusing File Manager! Does anyone have hosting at this site that can help me understand it???

stick to FTP its SO much easier ! :) thats my advice i used to be so confused about FTP but now i understand it and its soo much easier

See, I don't think you get it. I already SPENT the $20 to GET the hosting, so I'm not going to "stick" with FTP.

log in with the format:
address: ftp.barronhosting.com
username: [yourusername]@[domain]
password: [yourpassword]

actually, the address is ns1.barronhosting.com. :P (dude, you should know that! *bap*)

The file manager isn't too difficult once you play around with it, what are you having troubles with, exactly?

Although everyone else is right, FTP is the easier way to go.

I'm having big problems with the subdomains...they confuse me....

Alternately, you can set up another user (I can't open my file manager right now or I'd give more specific details...). Their name will automatically be www.yourdomain.com/~username (and comes with an email address. nifty.)

I always use ftp.barronhosting.com and it works :)

I remember I guessed that address, because nobody told me what information to use. so apparently either one works though :P

I've finally thought up a useless question! Erm...where do I put that ftp.barronhosting.com thing? Do I put it in where I registered my site?

Do you have an FTP program? That's where your login information would go.
