yayyyy i am getting my braces off tomorrow!!! and tomorrow is my bday so it'll be a nice present!

I got mine off earlier this year, it wont hurt much. For me, it hurted when the scraped off the glue (or whatever :P ) from my bottom teeth, near my gums..
But I hope you dont have to deal with that lol.

well.. they're off! i don't look like myself... this is weeeeird.... my teeth aren't as yellow is i excepted them to be though, which is good ;)

ahhh but i want 'em back on!! i don't even recognize myself!! and my teeth look like they shrunk :confusion

i guess i jsut have to get used to it though.. in the mean time, i'm never ever showing anyone my teeth :P

a little bit in the beginning.. because they pulled off the bracket things. but after that it didn't hurt!

OH but they had to make molds of my teeth, and they put this thing in my mouth that was filled will thick goop.. eww.. and it started running down my mouth towards my throat and i started to "gag"/throw up.. and my eyes were watering heavily.. they had to hold me down.. x.x

other than that it was great ;) other than looking at myself in the mirror..

Yeah, that goopy stuff is icky :P I had to have a mold before I got mine on. :D

I was so sick of braces, every time pop-corn got stuck in them I regretted ever having my teeth fixed. But it is worth it in the long run. congrats :)

i just got my retainers, and now i have a lisp! hahaha! :lol:

i had a lisp but after a few weeks it should go away. people with lisps sound sooooo funny!!!! you can't say soup!!haha

Ah, its not so bad. Just some tips to help you cope:

-dont chew for about a week:D your teeth are going to be sore.
-keep alot of soup handy.
-swishing with salty water helps relieve some of the soreness. :)

When I was little my dentist saw that my teeth were bunching up... so he pulled four of my baby teeth out so I wouldn't have to have braces... that is why I love my Dentist... lol

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that, because you do, in fact, have a static IP which is evidenced by the fact that you have broadband and a sampling of your posts from since you joined until now all have the same IP address.

and I'm sure any 25 year old knows what "static" means, so I'm sure it's not that you just don't know what it is...
