Can someone please tell me how I can add a windows Media Player in my entry so when people press play, they can see the video i took? Thanks! Monkey Bizzle 07-20-2004, 02:58 AM put this code where you want the video... <embed src="URL of video" controller=true autoplay=true loop=false> i recommend converting your videos to wmv cause the file size is smaller meaning it won't take forever and a day to download... if you have win xp, it comes with windows movie maker but if you don't you can search on google for a video converting software that will serve this purpose... xevie37x 07-20-2004, 06:32 AM where do i put that code if i want to show it in a regular entry? do i post it in the weblog entry like where i write everything else? also, how do i get the url file. my video from my camera aren't on any sites. xevie37x 07-20-2004, 06:36 AM do i post it in the weblog entry like where i write everything else? also, how do i get the url file. my video from my camera aren't on any sites. JiNgLeBeLLz77 07-20-2004, 06:42 AM yeah... you just put the code in your entry... but make sure you click the "edit html" button before you insert the code =] xevie37x 07-20-2004, 06:50 AM thanks, but i still don't understand where i find the url of my file. Monkey Bizzle 07-20-2004, 02:40 PM lets say you have a movie called movie.wma you have to upload it to another server so let's say you upload it to something called www.movieserver.com (http://www.movieserver.com) then your url would be "www.movieserver.com/movie.wma (http://www.movieserver.com/movie.wma)" if you don't have a place to host your movies and you want to put one that you found on the internet, then you would put the url of the movie...meaning, the location xevie37x 07-20-2004, 07:37 PM thanks, but the code still doesn't work. all it shows is a little box with a dot inside. Monkey Bizzle 07-20-2004, 08:35 PM copy the exact code that you are using... xevie37x 07-20-2004, 10:37 PM okay, do you know where i can host .avi video files? that way, i can get the URL there Monkey Bizzle 07-21-2004, 03:31 AM search the forum for free webhosts... you don't have to make a website there if you don't want to, just upload all of your movies to them...
