I need a really good web host if anyone could suggest one. I was with powweb but it was just too confusing for me. I'd like one with webFTP similar to geocities. Not page builder but the html editor. I'd also like acces to .HTACCESS and CGI. I'm so sad! :(

Please help I've wasted enough time already!!! If they have a money back gaurantee that would be good too!

Well, there's a site I use, http://www.flatface.net

It's totally free initially but if you want extra stuff it's like 20 bucks a year or something, I'm not sure. You can use just about anything except MySQL. CGI is supported.

However you have to use FTP.. and signups may be closed, I'm not sure.

Well, if you pay money they will pretty much crown you and see you as their king/queen ;) they'll do anything for you. Including let you host others. You can hook up that webspace with a domain name too.

They aren't accepting new sign ups :( I still havent found a host.

I use www.freewebspace.com currently. I like their editor a lot. Just go there and see what type of features they have.
