*does the happy dance* I just got back from my first Patti Smith concert and it was amazing!!! Patti hasn't been to Norway since 1978 (A long time before I was born! LOL) - So this was my first chance at seeing her! She played @ Rockefeller in Norway. The concert was the most rockin' and coolest concert I have ever been to!!! Patti performed a lot of her own songs and a couple of covers ... She had such a powerful and great singing voice and her lyrics were really deep! Her show lasted after two hours of amazing music! I am so glad I went to that show ... It was a great experience!!! The crowd was so enthusiastic and everybody loved Patti's music! Patti rocks!!! She was so energic on stage and they showed pics from her long music career on a screen behind the set!!! (She's 57!) I am in a really great mood right now. This has been a day to remember!!! It was so awesome  That woman has true talent! So if anyone gets a chance to catch a Patti Smith show - Ya should definitely go :) Patti is a great singer and songwriter - She even writes poems!!! She also rocked out on stage with her electric guitar and she also played songs on her acoustic guitar ... Gosh; She's so great at playing!!! She dedicated a song to her daughter, Jessie, I thought it was so sweet of her! I love rock 'n' roll!!!
I was quite unfortunate earlier in the day though. Blah ... I had been standing outside the venue for three hours, and I was almost first in line. This show was an 18+ one, but I was 100% sure to get in without my ID. (I was not gonna buy any alcohol drink!) To be quite honest; I didn't even think about it! The guy who was gonna check that people had their tickets and stuff said that he didn't think I was 18 :( I told him that I was 18+, but the stupid turd didn't believe me!!! Grrr ... I tried to tell him that I would never lie about my age, but he didn't believe me!!! He let everyone in except from me, because he insisted that I hadn't turned 18 yet. So I had to pay $40 for a cab to get home and get my ID, and I didn't get back to the venue til like five minutes before the show started!!! I told some people what had happened to me when I got back, and I got a good view at the show anyways! So fortunately, it worked out!!! At least I had some luck in my bad luck
Just wanted to share my day with everyone!!!
