well i finally got my guestbook fixed, only my test posts failed. everything is fine except say someone puts the url when they sign as lissaexplains.com , when you click the link in my guestbook, it trys to load http://www.whalersfan.com/thezeppzone/guestbook/lissaexplains.com . what could be causing this? my website link looks like this

nothing in any of the cgi folders edits a link, nor does anything in the txt files, it worked earlier, i shifted my layout, and suddenly it doesnt work again..this happened last night too.....any ideas what could be causing this?

thats my point lol...

during the entry of the URL, the visitor must enter the http:// infront of the webpage address for it to come out correctly, with just the www at the start, it creates the problem you currently see.

correct
http://www.blah.com

not correct
www.blah.com

in theory, if you got the guestbook script from a good source, they should have coded it well enough to "look" at the entry and add in the http:// part automatically if it does not get entered by the user.

im using the latest version of megabook lol....ill take a look at my code for my tagboard and see if i can find it....thanks for the info ill test it out and make sure that
