I'm not having trouble with a website, but with an HTML desktop(having my desktop load to blank.htm instead of blank.jpg). I want to use my own size and quality images for icons instead of the 32x32 .ico files - but I cannot figure out how to get the URL for My Computer, Recycle Bin, Network, etc. in an href tag. My Documents(C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents) works fine linked from the image - I just don't know the URL for the other three. I've been to many tutorial sites, but none of them to just tell me what the URLs are(for Windows XP home). Is it impossible to do this?
Also, I tried creating links to programs(not icon shortcuts) the same way, but instead of launching the program, a window appears to try and download it. Is there any code I can use to make a program(iTunes and such) launch with an href tag? I've seen it done before on other websites with IRC(irc://irc.blank.com/blank-channel), but not for any other program.
Hopefully I explained that clearly enough - not sure if this is on topic or not, so feel free to delete this post or direct me to another forum if necessary. Thank you very much!
