heheh, yeah, i just got over my depression stage lol, i love their music, they have the "nice and calm/aggressively loud" theme:) I used to be a rap fan, and when I started listening to this, I got over my depression rather quickly, and now Im happy:)

I just have a very negative attitude toward popular music... radio/TV more or less tells people what to listen to, and when it's "not cool" anymore (i.e., when they stop playing it), surprise! no one else likes it, either.

I know I hate the commercial music of the day. lol I just got the Led Zeppelin box set for my birthday. It makes me mad when people don't know who Jimmy Page is, and how much he influenced your music day, somewhat even rap. Same with like Clapton, Malmsteen, and the other great bands of the day. It makes it easy to get CDs, though. Just swipe them from my dad...:lol:

first of all, why would you listen to linkin park if you are "depressed?" shouldn't it be the other way around? ^I agree Monkey:) I went through a stage of REAL depression, not just "oh im so sad, look at me!" , but I was at a point in my life where I didnt care about anything or anyone, I didnt do anything at all but sit in my room and cry. And when i started listening to Linkin Park, my depression went away slowly but surely, now I am perfectly happy:D

Depression usually isn't a "stage." But I'd rather if we not get on that discussion.

i think NIN is alright, head like a hole is very catchy. "hurt" has very depressing lyrics, though. i used to think NIN was like death metal but now that i have heard more songs by them, they don't seem as scary to me anymore.

i loove pink floyd. led zeppelin's alright but it is kind of overrated *avoids falling objects* :buckt: smashing pumpkins is my favorite though... mellon collie and the infinite sadness is their best CD of course :hehe:

by the by, i agree with "Nothing is any good if other people like it." i know this is wrong but i start disliking something once it gets popular.. other people liking something i like just kills it for me :P
