I'm working on an upcoming fan site, and I'm currently designing the "vote" section. Is there an HTML code that automatically selects the artist's name or I.D for you?? For instance

I'm a member of an I-Squad team for R&B Artist, Aaliyah. They have it so instead of going to the actual site, simply click the "vote now" button they have available, and it automatically sends the vote in..As shown in this (http://likemikemovie.friendpages.com/pages//likemikemovie/photo119.jpg) screen shot.

This confuses me because for that particular video show, you must go to the site, select the artist, and THEN click vote. But on the i-squad they have it so you just click that ONE button as if they already have the artist selected. Is it a HTML code for that?? I'm trying to make it easy for my visitors.

I'm kinda confused about what your asking. Are you talking about a poll for your site or something (probably not)? I know this probably isn't what your looking for, but just in case try www.bravenet.com or www.sitegadgets.com for some simple ones.
