Hey everybody!

I'm looking into buying a digital camera. My price range is $0 - $500 dollars. Basically what I need is a camera that is pretty easy to use and has excellent quality. I'm going to use the pictures for my websites so they have to look sharp. If anyone happens to know of a camera or a forum that could tell me the stuff I need to know, post here. Thanks so much

Hmmmm, before I bought my digital camera, I did a good amount of research. Research what you want before looking for specific brands (i.e. megapixels, zoom, etc). I'm not into photography and don't plan on taking high quality photos, but I have a 2megapixel sony cybershot. I cost about 200+ (maybe less now).

Try searching on online stores like bestbuy.com or circuitcity.com and read customer reviews, thats what I did. Hope this helps.

there's http://www.consumerreports.org for research, although I think you have to pay for it or you have to subscribe to the magazine. and if you do happen to subscribe or know someone that does, every year they publish a product guide thingee with ratings on all sorts of products.

once you decide on a model, you can fidn it cheap using http://www.pricewatch.com

but before purchasing it, you should check out the company. you can do that at http://www.resellerratings.com

The Digital Camera Resource Page (http://www.dcresource.com/) has quite a bit of info as well
