well I build many free web sites. but I don't understand the utility of some things in some web sites:

these are
1. pub
2. banners
3 listings
4. password and signing
5. to fill formulaire.
6. I think sometimes that the webmaster wants me to stay longer in visiting his site.

Now I want just that someone could explains me all that.

I want to build a payed web site so I need these information.

you know when you said Banner, do you mean like banners to give to people so more people will come... you need to make your own graphics. Sorry if this doesn't help :(
